About This

  • FIRMER ALUMINUM MESH FOR RE-SCREENING: Built from 0.22 mm woven aluminum, this window screen replacement material has a more structured, shape-holding feel than soft fiberglass screening. Its heat-tolerant, corrosion-resistant metal weave suits sun-exposed windows, screen doors, porches, patios and pool enclosures; avoid hard folds that can set creases.
  • WHAT 18 X 16 MEANS: Approximately 18 strands across by 16 strands down per inch form a balanced aluminum screen mesh that helps block common flies and mosquitoes while preserving fresh airflow, daylight and outward visibility for everyday home ventilation.
  • PROJECT-SIZED 36 IN X 100 FT ROLL: Pair the 36 in width with many compatible standard-width frames; the 100 ft length supports repeated window, door or porch screening projects. Confirm every frame dimension and map cuts before opening the roll to reduce offcuts.
  • CUT, POSITION AND SPLINE WITH CONTROL: Remove the old spline, measure the clear opening and keep extra material on all sides. Lay the aluminum screen flat without sharp bends, roll compatible spline into the frame channel with even tension, then trim carefully. Verify channel and spline fit first and wear gloves around cut metal edges.
  • ONE ROLL FOR EVERYDAY REPLACEMENT PROJECTS: Cut this aluminum screening for windows, sliding doors, basement frames, porch panels, patios, pool enclosures and catio frames. The surface can be gently wiped or rinsed. One self-wound mesh roll is included; frame, spline and installation tools are not. Not designed as a security screen or pet-containment barrier.
